Crime Unit Bust R5,000 Dagga Stash in Polokwane

Dagga worth R5,000 was seized in Polokwane on Thursday morning, 21 May 2026, following a tip-off from the Community Policing Forum. CPF Board Chairperson Frans Kgasago worked alongside a member of the Organised Crime Unit to carry out the operation and confiscate the drugs.

Limpopo Provincial Commissioner Lt Gen Thembi Hadebe welcomed the outcome and applauded the working relationship between the CPF and SAPS. She called on members of the public to continue coming forward with information that can help law enforcement do their job. Police are still working to track down the suspect linked to the dagga.
